This post-election survey explores political participation and voting behavior in the 2024 general elections. Using a multistage probability sampling technique, the study interviewed 4,160 respondents across all 276 constituencies in Ghana. Five voters were systematically chosen per selected polling station, covering diverse groups such as traders, farmers, civil/public servants, artisans, drivers, the unemployed, students, and the incapacitated, to reflect the demographic characteristics of the voters in each constituency.
The report covers demographic characteristics, political affiliation, reasons for voter turnout and party preference, perceptions on why the NPP lost, and the political future of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
